We moved the website over from Squarespace to WordPress and created a bespoke theme with seamless integration of their event rental software of choice, Goodshuffle.

For day 9 of #servicebasedspring we’re talking about what we couldn’t live without.

The one thing I can’t live without in my business is Notion. 😍

Notion is a project management tool that can also be used for note-taking and creating filterable databases. Basically it’s like Airtable, Trello, Asana, Evernote and Google Docs all rolled in to one!

Here are a few of the ways I use Notion in my business:

📈 Project capacity tracker - to allow me to easily see when I have availability to take on new projects.

🗓 Content calendar - for those rare occasions when I actually plan my content in advance!

✂️ Code snippet database - for organising all the snippets of code I use regularly.

📝 Client and project notes - where I keep notes, links and other reference materials I need for different projects.

I also use Notion in my offline life for creating to-do lists, curating recipes, planning home renovations and so much more.

I made my first Reel especially for the #servicebasedspring challenge!

(Although it may also be my last because video isn’t my thing 😂)

Here is a little tour of my home office when I spend the majority of my time.

As you can see have two desks with two computer setups. Not because I’m greedy though! One is my beloved PC that I do the majority of my work on because I’m a Windows girl. And the other is a Mac mini that my partner and I share for testing websites on.

The space is very me with lots of Harley Quinn and The Dark Knight merch!
